About Us

Catan Communications is a full service award-winning public relations firm with more than 20 years of experience in sports and entertainment PR, marketing and special events. CC has created public relations and marketing campaigns for numerous Fortune 500 and entertainment companies.

Wayne Catan, founder and CEO, has managed and implemented some of the most prolific PR campaigns in America, including recent campaigns for College Sports Television (CSTV), Raggedy Ann’s induction into the National Toy Hall of Fame, NBCOlympics.com, Scholastic Books, and PEANUTS. For PEANUTS, Catan was at the helm of the publicity machine that garnered massive exposure for the grand opening of the Charles M. Schulz Museum, Christo’s wrapping of Snoopy’s doghouse, The 40th anniversary of “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” and the 40th Anniversary of “A Charlie Brown Christmas.”

Catan opened the eyes of many PR professionals when he implemented several successful campaigns for Pets.com (made famous by its irreverent Sock Puppet). Catan's account experience includes work with Reebok International, Buick Motor Company, Spalding Sports Worldwide, NIKE, USA Judo, USA Boxing, to name a few.
